I graduated St. Claire College with Veterinary Technology diploma in 2008. I have worked in hospitals ranging from specialty, shelter, emerge and GP. I love what I do, and have been lucky to build my skill set through various types of medicine. I began locumming (similar to travel nurse in human med) in 2013 and fell in love with the constant learning opportunities and experiences working alongside so many incredible doctors and amazing teams. Whether working on the chaotic floor of emerge or the crazy schedule in GP I seem to have a never ending supply of positivity and energy. My favourite aspect of veterinary medicine is nursing care. When we have a really intense case come into the hospital and through a collaborative team effort we stabilize, improve and then get to watch our patience go home is one of the best feelings in the world. That is one of the reason I love offering nursing care at home. We all know care doesn't end once you leave the hospital ❤
